Guided Tours of Scotland

Loch Ness Tour

Loch Ness tours from Glasgow and Edinburgh allow you to explore the loch side locations as well as some stunning Highland scenery on the way. With so much to see and do in the area it is hard to know where to start! Explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle, visit the highly acclaimed Loch Ness Exhibition at Drumnadrochit, watch the boats pass through the locks of the Caledonian Canal as it descends into the loch, take a forest walk on a section of the Great Glen Way, go on a Nessie hunting boat trip or for the more adventurous, try a rib boat ride. The quieter East shore of Loch Ness has a few hidden gems such as the Falls of Foyers (eulogised by the poetry of Robert Burns), Boleskine House, once the home of Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and the picturesque village of Dores, home of the Rockness Festival. The capital of the Highlands, Inverness, lies a few miles north of the loch and can also be visited as part of a Loch Ness tour

It is the longest distance day trip I offer and as such I would recommend taking two days for this tour if you are travelling from Edinburgh. For Glasgow collection and drop off allow 12 hours for this tour.
